It's like a different planet. And feels like we've been gone from
NS for months already. We flew through St. Martin, N.I. and the airport is a big tent. Usually
it's not bad spending four hours there but not when they don't have nice
coffee and croissants!
Tortola...status quo. There has been
lots of rebuilding across the island but it's still a mess. Roads are
horrible. "Our" resort is the same as when we left; pool continues to be used to breed mosquitoes. We finally had to switch providers today so we could get internet. So far so good.
Michel has been helping our friend John with his boat
and getting geared up for other work this week. Tahiti still in play; waiting for a date. (I'm not going) I have a couple of
linocut card orders to get done (Cooper Island and Necker Island ...name
dropper!). I have a Humiliation appointment on Wednesday at Labour and
Immigration for my work permit renewal. And life goes on.
Miss y'all xox
