Schedules and Waiting

As we wait for the excavation contractor to become available we watch the weather forcast for next week.   Had a great week/weekend with visits from Andre from Quebec,  Peter, Claudette, Chloe and Pheobe (rented the cottage next door), then Mom and Ann Fulton for a night only.   

We had our first sleep over, a fire in the stove and coffee on the balcony!    Finished tiling/grouting the bathroom.  More mudding in the shop, brush and tree clearing, etc.

Finally...the worse of the wall/stairwell is in place.  It is somewhat monstrous but will 'soften' up when we get some landscaping, grapevines??? in.    The Septic tank has been connected to the house.  The water has been connected to the house but the pump hasn't been put in the well and connected yet.  Tomorrow... we're told.  Flipping a coin for who gets to flush first.  LOL    Insulation repairs began today...amid the flurries, wind, sun, rain, flurries, sun, blizzard, sun.    Vanity in progress. It was a big day.  We got the build site mostly cleared of small trees and one big pine.  Mark the Newfie Tree Guy is an amazing tree-cutting-machine - even with a broken finger.   More on Monday.   Thinking of Fargo.   Pine bow/(future living room)view    Sunnybrook market and farm. One big pine down and one BIG chainsaw.
