Occupancy

And the deadline for getting our Occupancy Permit gets closer.

Most of the ceiling has been covered on the main floor.  Michel is working on covering the insulation in the shop/garage walls.  I'm following behind with filler.  Still plodding through trying to get the excavation started - cautiously optimistic about the latest plan for the retaining 'steps'.

The glass/railing for the balcony arrived on Saturday.  

We still have a sense of humour...

Finally...the worse of the wall/stairwell is in place.  It is somewhat monstrous but will 'soften' up when we get some landscaping, grapevines??? in.    The Septic tank has been connected to the house.  The water has been connected to the house but the pump hasn't been put in the well and connected yet.  Tomorrow... we're told.  Flipping a coin for who gets to flush first.  LOL    Insulation repairs began today...amid the flurries, wind, sun, rain, flurries, sun, blizzard, sun.    Vanity in progress. It was a big day.  We got the build site mostly cleared of small trees and one big pine.  Mark the Newfie Tree Guy is an amazing tree-cutting-machine - even with a broken finger.   More on Monday.   Thinking of Fargo.   Pine bow/(future living room)view    Sunnybrook market and farm. One big pine down and one BIG chainsaw.
