Reinforcements from Away

After having Dave and Jody for support and assistance for a week we got most of the walls on the main floor and loft attached.  An incredible relief!  Some blood shed (Sorry Dave) and other fun adventures had by all.  

Next shift - Sue and Rob all the way from the Yukon.   Their first day here and we got so much of the filling and sanding done, clean up and prepping for primer.  We know how to show folks a good time! :-)

The tilers also got most of the bathroom tiles down today.

Finally...the worse of the wall/stairwell is in place.  It is somewhat monstrous but will 'soften' up when we get some landscaping, grapevines??? in.    The Septic tank has been connected to the house.  The water has been connected to the house but the pump hasn't been put in the well and connected yet.  Tomorrow... we're told.  Flipping a coin for who gets to flush first.  LOL    Insulation repairs began today...amid the flurries, wind, sun, rain, flurries, sun, blizzard, sun.    Vanity in progress. It was a big day.  We got the build site mostly cleared of small trees and one big pine.  Mark the Newfie Tree Guy is an amazing tree-cutting-machine - even with a broken finger.   More on Monday.   Thinking of Fargo.   Pine bow/(future living room)view    Sunnybrook market and farm. One big pine down and one BIG chainsaw.
