Birds and Sheep...and KISS

We had a Northern Flicker in the house on Saturday.   Visit to the sheep and goats at the market.  Mahone Bay was having its annual Scarecrow Festival - KISS was there.  

One more window was installed while we were away.  Shingles have started on the western side; eastern side done.  Mechanical room and lower WC framed up.  Garage doors are taking shape!

    Wow the hous is looking just fantastic! Can't say the same for KISS. Funny, they look shorter and chubbier than I had imagined them..����

Finally...the worse of the wall/stairwell is in place.  It is somewhat monstrous but will 'soften' up when we get some landscaping, grapevines??? in.    The Septic tank has been connected to the house.  The water has been connected to the house but the pump hasn't been put in the well and connected yet.  Tomorrow... we're told.  Flipping a coin for who gets to flush first.  LOL    Insulation repairs began today...amid the flurries, wind, sun, rain, flurries, sun, blizzard, sun.    Vanity in progress. It was a big day.  We got the build site mostly cleared of small trees and one big pine.  Mark the Newfie Tree Guy is an amazing tree-cutting-machine - even with a broken finger.   More on Monday.   Thinking of Fargo.   Pine bow/(future living room)view    Sunnybrook market and farm. One big pine down and one BIG chainsaw.
